Elemental

This is my initial attempt at a falling sand type of game I created back in 2008. Draw structures built out of various elements and then watch them interact with each other. Inspired by wasting a lot of time playing around with the superb powder toy http://dan-ball.jp/en/javagame/dust/

Written with blitzmax and opengl.

Curious if you plan on doing more with Elemental ?

No immediate plans I’m afraid mainly due to time spent on other ongoing projects.
Had lots of ideas and have been thinking about using GPU shaders to get the particle count up.

Anything in particular you would like to see?

Nothing in particular, but would love to see how much of a difference GPU Shaders or OpenCL would make on this type of “Game”.
